GAADI - Bicycle Tube
Who are we?
GAADI Bicycle Tube GmbH is a German company based in Mönchengladbach on the Lower Rhine. In 2004, Adi Jetten and Gabriel Petrovan laid the foundation for today’s company. The first open GAADI bicycle tube was built in their own garage and immediately tried out on their own bike. A short time later, both of them had the GAADI bicycle tube patented by the European Patent Office. The GAADI Bicycle Tube is a neologism from the first names of the two inventors Gabriel Petrovan and Adi Jetten.
In 2009, Dana Fischer came across the two developers and has been supporting GAADI commercially ever since. She not only provided the financial resources for production and development, but also pushed ahead with the founding of Jetten-Fischer-Petrovan GbR, later GAADI Bicycle Tube GmbH. Since then, Klaus Fischer Dreh- und Presstechnik GmbH has been involved as a close partner of GAADI Bicycle Tube GmbH.
GAADI FILES SECOND PATENT
In the meantime, the company has filed a second patent for worldwide patenting (PCT application) and trademarked the name GAADI.
The 2013 Eurobike Award, for which 496 products from 30 countries competed, went to our GAADI bicycle tube. In the same year, GAADI received the Dutch „Fiets Innovatie Award 2013“ for innovative technical innovations.
R & D
In cooperation with different partners in R & D, we have comprehensively analyzed the expansion behavior of our hose when installed. This simulation enabled us to determine the optimal geometry and the optimal material properties of the GAADI bicycle tube. We carried out our analyzes on different shell and wheel sizes and thus checked the corresponding expansion behavior and the material stresses. Always with an eye on optimal driving behavior.
The partner for the production of the standard GAADI bicycle tube is the renowned Czech tire and tube manufacturer Rubena s.r.l
